25th July 2009: EvoScan v2.6 Beta17 released!
Download EvoScan Beta17 here(registered users only. Unregistered users get your registration number from www.evoscan.com)
- ADDED OBDII DATALOGGING SUPPORT for OpenPort1.3U and OpenPort 2.0
- this will work with ALL vehicles 1996-2008 (OBDII)
(the government should have mandated Generic OBDII be fast, lol! EvoScan makes it as fast as it can, its still a waste of time for Mitsubishi owners, stick with MUTII)
- Relabelled all the protocols and devices.
- More support for OpenPort 2.0 and Evo7/8/9 Actuators+DTC
- More support for 2008/09 JDM EvoX Mode23 (thanks SiC)
- More support for multiple
- Added a new checkbox to "Display only selected items" hides the dataitems you're not logging at that time.

Thanks Hamish, successfully downloaded and installed

This is probably been asked elsewhere, but can this latest version of evoscan log EvoX's boost from the CAN locations listed under "EVOX", or can I only get that from the Mode23 sections with the ROM changes as talked about in this thread?

Cheers

Garry

Stupid question - On http://www.limitless.co.nz it says I can pay $25 to download EvoScan 2.5, yet it lists 2.6 betas on the page. I'm assuming that I'd be able to download the 2.6 betas anyway even if I just follow the payment/registration for 2.5, correct?

I just don't want to buy this twice for no reason.

Hamish,

Did you fix the glitch while logging the AFR from an LM-1? As I told you a long time ago, when logging the LM-1 through Evoscan and you lift off the gas, Evoscan cuts off the LM-1 and it never comes back again. The user must stop logging and start logging again to enable Evoscan to log the LM-1.

This has been going on since version 2.4 of Evoscan. Have you fixed it? Please fix it if you have not. I am forced to log AFR wit the ZT2 and I do not like the ZT2. Please Hamish, fix this glitch. There are a lot of LM-1 users who have this problem.

Yes, I did. He did nothing about it. I am not the only one with this problem. There are others.

I explained to him in detail what it going on. I even sent him a log showing him how AFR LM-1 logging cuts off when you lift off the throttle while still in gear.

I do not know why he has not fixed this despite asking him many times to do so.

I am actually testing the LC1/LM1 code on the EvoScan Display Units today, I'll take a look at EvoScan for you, I will be able to fix it now that you reminded me what the problem is, thanks.

You must be having a specific problem that a guide probably wouldn't answer anyway. you can only edit ecu rom tables via ecuflash.

Heres my first tutorial, I'm gonna make some more for graphing etc.

What are you trying to do? Add me to msn messenger hamish_ahern@hotmail.com I can answer any questions you have.
