Evo X Logging
#661
has anyone logged with beta 18?
i attempted to with the following settings (2 pulls)
openport2.0, can2006+/evox, injector scaling: 513, mode23 usa evox, odbiiefi
coolanttemp, gear in use, baro, battery, lc-1 afr, and external wideband were the only unchecked boxes.
and only got 3 rows
example:
logentryseconds
8.8
19.69
28.4
anyone know why that would happen?

using beta 19 i logged every parameter except for LC-1 AFR (i use aem) and i was averaging 0.307 seconds between entries. last night with beta 18 i was getting 0.475
a good 35% increase in sample rate. I'll try to remove some parameters and see what i get tonight if the wifey will let me out of the house
vista32, 2GHz core 2, 3gb ram

Nah, the UEGO works great for logging.
Although, the LC-1 seems to have a bonus feature of being able to hook into the original Rear O2 Harness (which would be nice for moving car-to-car). If you already have a UEGO, just hook it up to a serial to USB adapter and log away!

If so, that's awesome! I have an LC-1 but had to cut off the sensor on a previous vehicle...

Is there a reason the LC-1 AFR option is not available for the JDM RS EVO X? Is the address unknown? There is a post catalytic OEM sensor in place. Also what about the trims since I'd like to have that in order to scale the injectors correctly rather than just plugging in the most common settings used(Deatchwerks 800cc)

Though, I'm curious now. The AEM UEGO has an analog output, could that be worked into the same thing as the LC-1? That is, get the analog output into the D35 connector (yellow wire) under the seat, then get it read through the ECU?

most widebands have an analogue output - so they can all hook into the rear02.
its nothing more than logging the wideband via the ECU... one less cable
this was a big advantage for the LC1 where the serial cable introduced errors and so removing it made life a LOT easier
