Ok, I'll line that up as an alternate for now then, or find a freebie that just does basic read and clear functions since I already have EvoScan doing all the logging I need. The trick is that it needs to support Vista too.

I tried to upgrade from 2.6 b19 to 2.7 b1 about a week ago and I can't seem to get it installed correctly. It says my data.xml is ou of range. I opened a trouble ticket a few days ago and still have heard anything back. Is anyone else having this problem or am I doing something wrong.

Tephra, if you are busy and are willing to share source code (how about GPL'ing it?), post it up somewhere and i'll rewrite and add support for Innovative widebands..

It says invalid file I believe. Why is this not on the site limitless? What do these new features add. I don't know why I'm having problems with it.

Still Beta2 works better than any other logger. AP has nothing...

Everyday Hamish is doing something new for our community on still "new" cars. Give it some time.

The thing is, I get all these temporary files that take up space on my computer and I don't know what needs to stay, what doesn't, why they show up, etc. Seems stupid to me. AP has none of that.

Haven't used the AP software at all so i can't comment on it at all...

Evoscan i think is a great tool. Maptracer is a bell&whistle type of feature that would be nice to have, but really not required.

At the end of the day it gets the job done for $25... i can't buy a movie (blu-ray, cuz thats how i rollz lol) for that much yet i can log my car and constantly learn and tweak.

gets my vote and my $25!

Well it sounds like this is a one person issue. I haven't seen this issue. I installed the program with the full install pack, then the betas just copy and replace. All works here. So I don't see how it's stupid. The AP will always be behind in terms of development when it comes to EvoScan/EcuFlash. ECUFlash will have way more option to tweak than the AP...
