He guys, this thread has gotten really large....

What is the most current data.xml file that incorporates mode23 and all available logging metrics?

I am specifically looking for boost correction.

after a while you wont need those defs...

just use active WGDC and then look at the different from logged to whats in the map - that will tell u how much correction is taking place

Anyone have a better data file for the USDM 2010 Evo 10 / RA?

So far I have these items logging correctly in Mode 23:

RPM
Load
TimingAdv
PSI
Knock SUm
TPS
MAT
Speed

Question

Hi guys,

I'm a little bit confused.
My rom ID is 53600010 (RA '09) so I followed those info from the first post:

53600010
<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #1" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x7efbd" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8aa61" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="DoMode 0x42 -> 0x52" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8aa66" scaling="Hex16"/>

The value before was matching what I should have been expected to see if I had the correct adress so I proceed and changed them to the new value.

I flashed my ECU with the new ROM file and it went ok.
When I open EvoScan and I try to log some values the car goes crazy and it run on like 3 cylinder with the check engine flashing. Don't worry I haven't let the car ran for more then 10 seconds. If I stop the logging the car goes back to normal.

Just for testing purpose I flashed the GST BaseMap in which the mode23 is enabled already. I tried EvoScan and I can log value no problem so it's not a EvoScan issue.

What's wrong? Honestly I'm confused.
If the email flash I have from AMS was done with ECUTek, could it prevent me from changing those value and enable mode23?

Thanks for much needed help.

Yup the EcuTek roms don't play nice with Mode23

I guess I'll have to ask AMS to enable it themselve.

I've noticed anyways that he already did the DTC disable change so it should not be an issue to enable that I hope.

Thanks for the info Bryan.

Hi guys,

I am looking for the correct addresses/code to log following on an 09 Ralliart. The current ones in ver 2.6 are wrong:

IPW
IDC
LTFT-cruise
LTFT-idle

I was tuning an RA today for the first time and these did not work. I had to use PCMscan to check the trims and make sure they are at +/-5%

I would also like to correct some logging addresses. Any tips for using the MUT table? Is it just trial and error, or are there standard MUT ids that are for certain parameters?

I do not have the MUT table for the 09 RA. I do not have a complete rom definition file. The MUT table is missing. I posted in the ECUflash thread hoping to get one.

<table name="MUT Table" address="3efc0">
<table name="X" elements="16"/>
<table name="Y" elements="30"/>
</table>

I think this is what you're looking for
If I only knew how to use it
