i'm getting frustrated getting Evoscan to work with Lm-1. Logworks log fine. The weird thing is that. some how The serial to Usb adapter i use getting conflict with the tactrix cable. When both cables "tactrix & serial to usb" are plug in, i can't even uses ecuflash to read or write my rom. even when i unplug the tactrix the stupid ecuflash still see the serial to usb adapter as tactrix cable. help

I feel your pain. Hopefully you get help on this so I can try again as well. I gave up on this awhile back when I first started lurking into the Ecuflash forum.

 

I never got v2.5 to work properly with the LM-1. I switched to using a Zeitronix and the problem was solved.

 

You must return to 2.1

 

i will give 2.1 a try today. but i really thing it's a software/cable issue thanks

 

finally got everything to work. i went the radioshack and got a gigawork usb to serial. i'm happy.

 

Had the same issue... didn't even try to fix it... just loaded up 2.1 instead.

 

So 2.5 definitely has a known issue with the lm1? I kind of come and go in the ecuflash world, and everytime I come back everything is changed ha. I dont think I have had much luck datalogging my lm1 since the .98 days or so ha. How can you download older versions of evoscan?

 

Thats a hard one to answer because its a pay for kinda thing. But if you bought and paid for evo scan and you still have your info, and then play with the download address you might figure it out. Good luck mate.

 

I use evoscan 2.5 with my lm-1 with no problems.

 

Can you please tell me what cables you use for making this working?

I have lm-2 and I want to use it with evoscan 2.6 and I want to know what cables and what connection I must make in order to make this working.

The basic tactrix cable will work and then you need a cable that has one serial connection end and one usb connection end. Any brand should work. Make sure not to attempt to log with logworks at the same time. Good luck hope it helps
