I wish we had corn around here

Modding to log via rear o2 was really simple, the trick is mainly making sure you have the right formula for your brand wideband.

OK well, I helped a buddy set up his AEM and logging. I'm using my laptop to log his car and mine. We're using the same serial to USB adapter. For some reason it logs perfectly fine on his car. But on mine, it will sometimes log for a few seconds then crap out. The only real difference between his car and mine are the grounding points for the d-sub. Also mitsulogger seems to log fine on my car.... can't seem to figure it out.

OK so if I log with aemlogger (mitsulogger), I'll get some funny looking characters sometimes. I wonder if that has anything to do with crashing evoscan.

I think I solved my problem. I grounded the gauge to the common ground near the hood latch cable. I've told people before not to ground the wideband there, but I did it myself and didn't even realize it. Anyways, I relocated the ground to the console cage, shortened the wire, and it seems to be working now. I'll know for sure when I do some logging. But it stopped dropping the logging. I was able to log for more than 30 seconds, and I know I've never been able to do that before.
