granted i have a laptop devoted to evoscan and ecu flash, but im not always on it.

i use my mac all the time and i know that i can get ecu flash for it. so i downloaded it and it comes up as a disk image, where i can open it but it isnt acutally installed for me to read anything.

did i "install" it wrong or is it only an image for the mac?

Copy the application from your image disk onto the "Applications" folder.
Mac version is good to work on maps but there are troubles regarding OSX Tactrix driver.
Most of Mac user's run XP versions of Ecu Flash & Evoscan on Parallel...

thanks for the help. my question now is how would i get all the definition files from here on the forums to the mac?

because on my windblows pc i take the def files and overrite them so that i can read my rom from my oz rally.

DL the app through Firefox...Safari does weird **** to downloads sometimes. I tried using my mac for both ECUFlash and evoscan in vmware fusion and it doesn't see my data. It sees my dynex serial to usb device but it doesn't see anything else.

 

I have ECU Flash on my Mac. Worked well when I had my Evo.

 

Download them and place them in the metadata directory...
