Take off your Iac and clean it. Mine had carbon deposits and was pretty gunked up. It may be on it's way out.
I'm on my 2nd IAC my first got damaged from the methanol. It's believed that if the meth doesn't get completely burned up from injection it pools up on the iac and wears it away.

If you're not using meth then you prob just need to clean it good. The screws strip easy, i suggest replacing with screws with a socket head.

I pulled it out and cleaned it a few days ago. It really was not that dirty. I did notice that there is no movement at all with it. Shouldn't the end push in and out some ? ?

No meth here so I know that isn't the issue.

Crazy thing is that I did not have this code with my 94170015....I flash to v7 and bam...occasional p0505.

No fluke for me. Spike of 1400 settles immediately to 1200(what I requested at specific temps) ...finally at 1000 at operating temp of 180

Paul as for the p0505 what I did to cure that was to set the idle back to stock V7 values and readjust the biss at the stock idle values, then readjust idle setting afterward... I haven't had the P0505 in over 2 weeks now

I've wondered where you have been.

All of my ISCV tables and Idle RPM tables must go back to stock ? ?

I don't think my revolver cams will allow that to happen. They can't run at anything below 1000 rpm. The car will stall every time.

I even went so far as to open the BISS to the point I can hear air hissing around it and activated SAS....still stalled.

What is the approximate base setting for the BISS? How many turns from full clockwise?

Used the ISCV settings from above... Starts much, much better in the morning, of course it was 77° F this morning too.

You used my settings and they worked? What was the initial spike? And did it settle right away?

Yes, pretty much normal warm up idle is stock, with the initial RPM bump gone. I turned the air on mid warmup and had to blip the gas. Overall, it's very stable.

That's great news! Why did you have to blip the throttle?

I had to blip the throttle because when I turned the air on mid warm up cycle it wanted to die.

Actually, I've been having that issue with V7. If the RPM goes to low, it tries to stall, but doesn't. Seems to hover in the 200-500 RPM range until I blip the gas a little. I'm not sure how to fix that yet.

What does your timing look like around the 40-100 load at that rpm? Also, it may be a simple biss adjustment.
