My guess is your car has a tune of some sort on it, as neither of my IX MR's had ANY sort of problem when stock/untuned.

^^^^ +1. My 1st stock IX MR didn't have that problem, and neither did the very mildly modded 2nd one I have now(when I bought it)....which was confirmed to have the OEM ECU flash settings.

Any solution yet to the 2000 rpm warm up idle? Or is this an unavoidable consequence of the tephra 96530706 rom?

Have you tried adjusting your desired idle levels based on coolant temp. This worked the best for me. Most I get is a spike of 1400 and immediately settles to 1100 then eventually 1000

No table like that defined in 96530706

Ok to b more specific. I thought u could read around it.
Desired ISCV initial step position AC off neutral
Desired ISCV initial step position AC off drive
Desired ISCV initial step position AC on neutral

Lower values in problem areas(temps) by 10% at a time till it's where u want it as far as cold starts.

Question:

I read the first 7 pages or so, and did not get a definitive answer, but does this fix apply to 88591715? I tried most of the periphery changes, but my car ran a bit worse, and threw an engine code (couldn't pull it, evoscan will only clear DTCs for some reason).

Also, my car will not stay running when cold started, unless I blip the throttle to keep it from dying, lasts about 30 seconds. Ideas?

16:1-19:1. Sometimes as lean as 20:1.

Andrew,

Yours is the SD table and a few of the other minor tables. I just played with one today and saw exactly what is happening. Also change your periphery from 0x54D8 to 0x56D8.

My issue came about when switching to SD. This remedy fixed my issue and another members issue. I tried almost everything. Adding fuel/timing/start up ipw/ scalings etc...this table was my savior.

If JB is your tuner have him look at some alternatives. I'm almost certain this will help your issue.

I'm still in the infant stages of the learning curve here... Which periphery has that address?

Also, I have the MAF comp table, but not maf comp vs. Coolant temp. What now?
