The old 88591715 XML file that was inlcuded from the previous 88591715-V7-SD release interferes with the new TephraMOD-88591715-v7 XML that you included in the new download. For people who have downloaded the new 88591715-V7-SD release and are still unable to see the SD tables, go to your XML folder and delete the 88591715 XML. Big thanks to tephra, phenem, recompile, scheides, and bigric09!
FYI, the settings in the actual rom for SD, unless phenem changed it, are what im using on my current setup and they seem to work perfectly. I am running a 35R and a built bottom end.

Discrepancy Between 0706 and 2706
I tried switching to l2r99gst's 96532706 for live maps, but the tables don't match up. It seems some tables exist in Phenem's that don't exist in l2r99gst's, and the other way around. This could be that they're just named and grouped differently, but I haven't been able to get everything to match up.
I tried my best to make what I could find match what I already had, but the car won't start and it's fuel related.
What I did find, is that the Maf sensor filtering for all roms I've used has Hi = 192, Lo=217.
In l2r99gst's, this comes set Hi=24, Lo=5. Way different.
If I change this to match my original settings, the car doesn't start.
If I keep this, but change my other settings to my original working settings, the car will start but is pig rich. STFT maxes out to -25. What this setting actually does I have no idea.

I then opened 96530706-TephraMod-phenem.bin and 96532706-TephraMod-l2r99gst-dma.bin in their unmodified form in two separate instances.
Here's an example of discrepancies that I am seeing. 0706 on the left, 2706 on the right. Circled in red are a few of the things that are unique to each side.
Circled in pink is an example of an item that exists in both "Start Injector Pulse Width Latency in milliseconds", but in two different places, and with two *very* different values. 0706 is has 2.592 milliseconds for it's value, 2706 has 432 milliseconds.
I'm an idiot when it comes to xml, but these are in their unmodified forms as presented when downloaded. I don't know which one is "right".
Because of these problems, I am unable to transfer values in my 0706 rom over to 2706.

So, I did a fresh openecu install. I copied TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml and TephraMOD-96532706-v7.xml in their unmodified form to the evo folder in metadata.
I then opened 96530706-TephraMod-phenem.bin and 96532706-TephraMod-l2r99gst-dma.bin in their unmodified form in two separate instances.

I renamed TephraMOD-96532706-v7.xml to TephraMOD-96532706-v7.bak
I copied TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml creating "Copy of TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml" and renamed this copy to TephraMOD-96532706-v7.xml
I opened TephraMOD-96532706-v7.bak with wordpad, and scrolled down until I found <!--BEGIN DMA-LiveMap DEFINITIONS--> which is near the bottom. I copied everything from that line to the bottom.
I opened my newly-renamed TephraMOD-96532706-v7.xml. At the top there is a line <internalidhex>96530706</internalidhex>, I changed this to
<internalidhex>96532706</internalidhex>
I then scrolled to the bottom, and added all the DMA-LiveMAP Definitions that I copied from TephraMOD-96532706-v7.bak
Now when I opened Phenem's 0706 and l2r99gst's 2706, all the tables and trees are the same all the way down. (values are not equal because the roms are not the same, but the tables and trees are)
Consequently (and this may be the most important part) I am no longer seeing the strange values that I was seeing before for certain fields.
I think maybe there is something wrong with the xml that is being distributed with 2706. I have not tested yet if mine works, I'm still inside finishing up moving my values over, and just wanted to document what I'm doing while I'm here.
If this works, I'll post up the xml that I am using in case it may help others.
EDIT: It works. However, I'm not going to post my xml in light of Phenem's restructure (3 posts down) which should resolve the issue.

So in an effort to fix this, I'm doing the following in my C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo directory

OK guys,
I changed the XML stucture that Jack_of_Trades implemented. I did this because I kept on getting changes to the different XML files and changing 4 different files was difficult to keep up with. Also hard to keep track of what was changed and testing it.
So here is how it is done:
94170715 - TephraMOD-94170715-v7.xml
94171715 - TephraMOD-94171715-v7.xml
96530706 - TephraMOD-96530706-v7.xml
96531706 - TephraMOD-96531706-v7.xml
96532706 - TephraMOD-96532706-v7.xml
96533706 - TephraMOD-96533706-v7.xml
88590715 - TephraMOD-88590715-v7.xml
88591715 - TephraMOD-88591715-v7.xml
Basically this allows us to update one XML file if there is a change that would effect all versions of the ROM files (ie: MAF, SD, DMA, DMA/SD). That way you only have to keep one main XML file and then the differences are in the SD and DMA versions. Keeps things organized better.
HOWEVER there is a drawback, it moves the differences to the top of the map. So if you have an SD ROM the SD Programming and Tuning are now right at the top, and same with DMA and DMA/SD. This is no big deal to me just need to get adjusted to where it is at now.
I updated the second post and uploaded all new ZIP files. Please re-download and use the updated XML files. I have also added an XML Pack that includes every XML file for every ROM for v7 for the people that just want the XML updates.

That last part was a good idea...
Those of us that tune multiple cars, it makes life easier. If you want, i can send you my start maps.... i have 3 VIII and 3 IX roms to use as bases..... 1 in each bracket to deal with the stock, jdm and omni map sensor so i dont have to go back and keep searching for the settings, it saves time on the dyno. I pretty much switch all VIIIs to the 9653 rom and the IXs to the 8859.
