Hi Mark,

Are you on the JDM Evo IX?

I'm quite sure there are a number of differences between the 88570008 and the 88580014.

That's why I am still waiting for a version of the 88570008. Nonetheless, it would be great if you can let us know what other problems you encountered when running the 88580014.

Or has anyone been running successfully the 88580014 as a replacement for 88570008?

Cheers!

94170015 UPDATE

Hi All,

Two problems have been found with the 94170015 ROM
1) gear boost doesn't work, it doesn't calculate the rpm/speed ratio at all
2) boost error/tbec doesn't work, my "stock" rom has bad values for the Wastegate activation/deactivation table

I will be posting up fixes for these problems soon - once they are field tested

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Cheers
D

While we are on issues... can someone else verify that the 88591715 rom's launch maps work ? I want to see if it is just my car, but my launch maps act the same as the old 2 step does.

Thank you Tephra. Any idea on how to fix the wacky cold start idle. I feel like I have tried everything. I guess I need to see if V5 acted the same way or if it is just me...

So I can't use this with ecuflash 1.38? Unfortunately that's the newest version I can use with my Mac...And please don't launch this into a PC/Mac war...

download the 88591715, they are for sure in there. Just copy the mivec section into your rom and they will show up. I think i noticed that also and just added them in.

no, that is the SD rom... I know i put the MIVEC tables in it though. So just copy that section into your 0715 rom and you will be good, or even better, email me and i will send you my converted 0715 xml. jsnrchtr@aol.com

None of them work very well on a 7 ecu mate.

I've tried 3 different roms (one E7 and 2 E8 roms) both give the same problems (nasty juddering around 2000 - 2600rpm).
