Are you referring to rpm speed/gear?

Tephra are you referring to the main wastegate map?

I mean the wastegate and desired boost maps but i guess you could also manipulate the rpm speed /gear table to limit it to just one gear.

Gotcha. I actually did have them the same values. I was having some boost issues. Could be possible because i switched from stock enkies to 18x9 245/40 wheel/tire setup.

I'm not entirely sure how manipulating the table would go. If you set every value to the same gear I'd have to imagine it wouldn't matter.

that would work... but really your defeating the purpose of the gear based boost then...

you should be able to tune 1/2/3/4 and then copy 4 to 5/6

4/5/6 will be very similar and also TBEC has enough time with those gears..

1/2/3 is the biggest advantage for gear'd boost

=5.9 * 60 * 14.7 / 5

=1040

I don't think I am doing anything wrong because the math just doesn't work.

I also noticed that in 94170715, it defaults to the alt map. I loaded up the ROM with the alt maps option set to 0 to disable them and then logged 8425 and received 3. In the past this meant that the ecu is using alt maps, has this changed in this ROM?
I think the formula should read MPG = (5.9*[Speed]*[AFRMAP]) / ([lbamin] * 60)

Multiplying the airflow by 60 converts lbs/min to lbs/hr. Then all the units will cancel leaving you with miles per gallon.

Anyone else log 8425 in 94170715 and notice that it defaults to 3 signifying alt maps?

Hello

The map switching with V7+maf to get 2 different fuel ignition and boost table only availabe if you run with ecu based direct boost control and plug in for it a MAP sensor ?

The ALS table coud copy in the rom to control the SAS with the solenoid ? V7 can retard ignition -10 or -20 ? Is there any way to add more fuel when decelerate and the throttle is closed ?

Can I run with different MAF sensor If i know calibration ? I have the MD336481 .

Anyone else still having crazy cold start idle.... Mine goes all over the place for a little bit. It will swing from 1000 to 2000 then 1500 and back up and down. I have have tried to change a few things but nothing seems to do the trick. I am going to try and reflash it with a newer version of the 94170715.

I did some searching through the thread and I'm still a little confused about the BWGD & BDEL replacement maps. Do I just copy and paste my previous ROMS values in and make each gear the same? Sorry for the newb question I'm still trying wrap my mind around alot it. Thanks

yeah you copy your current map into each gear..

that will give you the same behaviour as you currently have...

then you can tune each gear to get more/less boost

Ok That is what I was thinking. Another question that came to mind is that I'm using a MBC.. How would this interact with gear based boost control. again newb question. Thanks
