what is MUT43?

does your RPM_SPEED_RATIO_AVERAGE log properly? ie ~2000 for 1st.... ~25 for 6th?

 

MUT 43 = 8449

And yes rpm/speed seems to be correct, jsut its not using the gear it should for that value (ie 54 rpm/spd= 3rd gear)

 

what does your "RPM/Speed to Gear" table look like?

It's in the TephraMOD-V7 category..

check your scaling on the gear table... particularily the RPMPerKPH..

are you doing the calculation in miles per hour or kph?

 

ECUflash is set rpm/ mph

evoscan is rpm/ kph.

so even if evoscan logged it wrong wouldn't it still function correctly in the rom?

EDIT: I see where the error is Thank you Dave! (scaling was RPMperMPH)

(Is the the proper scaling for "Gear" side (right column) unit8 (scaling for my V6 rom) or RPMperMPH Gear? (scaling in current rom)

both scalings need to match - otherwise your inputting wrong data...

hey guys when running v7 how do you disable the knock sensor , because i'm running a 4g64 on speed density and the 4g64 I have does not have a knock sensor on it , and I dont plan on installing one... I read somewhere that periphry 0 bit 7 is the one you change but it listed as something else , in the 965xxxxxxx rom...

 

SORT THIS NOW is there an error in the XML files for the 96531706 roms? as I've down loaded the rom fresh and the SD RPM VE data looks very odd, here is an image of what i'm on about


the address values are MAP 337C and rpm 65f6
