What are you having trouble with, specifically? Plenty of people here ready and willing to help, myself included, if it's within my limited knowledge.

Ok my rom is 88590015. i saved the 88590715 into the directory for ecu flash. i went threw every single value and transfered my current tune over to the v7. my problem is when ever i try save the rom it saves it as if it was a normal stock rom without the tephramod v7 drop-down option on the side.. no matter where i save it or what i do it saves it as a normal stock rom. what is going on...

Gallas: When you download tephra you get 2 files. "TephraMOD-88590715-v7.xml" is what you put in the "EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo" directory. Then you open the other file that comes with Tephra, "88590715-TephraMod.bin" and copy your maps into that rom (rename it so you keep the original Tephra rom, just in case). Then you flash that .bin onto your car.

Mullen: You don't convert your old rom (probably a .hex) into a .bin for Tephra. Like I said above for Gallas, you need to take the .bin that comes in the zip when you download Tephra and copy your maps into that, then flash that .bin onto your car. The xml that also comes in the zip goes into the directory that you said, that allows Ecuflash to recognize the new tables in Tephra.

That should get both of you on the right track, but if you're not sure, let me know and I'll explain in more detail.

nope same problem. it will save and stay the V7 mod when i change just the immobilizer. but if i save it after i spent awhile changing it over and re open it. it is back to the regular rom format without the V7 additions.. ever single time. ive converted my damn rom at least 6 times, just for it to disappear and lose all my work. no errors when saving. what the hell. its the V7 while im moving things over just cant save. and i have tried saving as, and also just saving over the original file.

Hmm, that's weird. Might need somebody with more knowledge than me to step in on this one.

gallas,

a question, do you remove whatever rom you were using from the xml page, so there is no chance the ecu can pick it up again. At least rename it.
