Once you know what you're doing, no, not really. Increase the values in the Main Map Wastegate Duty table for all gears and you'll see your boost start raising.

 

I was trying to pull rom from my Evo 9 mr SE, the oem rom ID is 88590016. But i can not see information via ecuflash. Look like i dont have xml definition. So i dont know what to do if i want to do if i want to tune it, so Just wondering that could I flash 88597015 to the car and disable immobilizer ? Because I can't see my immobilizer code on my oem rom. What else do I need to do to switch to tephra v7 88590715. ? I'm worry about if there will be any problem? Thanks guy appreciated.

what boost are you running with that table?
gear "0" is what? reverse?

 

23 psi peak and tappering to 19 iirc.

 

I think it's when you are stationary? Never checked but now I'm curious.

i have rom 88580014, whats the correct tephra rom for a ADM 2007 evo 9 ? tried a couple out that didnt inluded mivec maps etc ?

I'm having trouble converting my maps to big maps. Whenever I input all my fuel data in the input side of the big map converter it rounds all my fuel settings.

 

Make sure that all of the fuel values are above 7 and probably below 15 or 20. I had this problem until I edited a few cells that still had timing values in IIRC.

 

Alright i have been having problems figuring this out. Probably an easy fix i am missing. But My car is acting like its not speed density ever since I swapped a few months ago. Whenever i let off gas it richens up as if it were to have a maf and a venting bov. I have a 50mm vented and i cant seem to figure out where to adjust those few seconds to lean it out.

Any help would be appreciated

I have copied my immoblizer setting (2801) from original rom over to tephra v7 rom. also matched the init code (0001). Car wont start. changed faa bit 3 to 0. Car still doesnt start. cranks but nothing else. All my maps including injector scaling have been copied over from original tune with the only difference being the scaling of the big maps. Valet is disabled.

what am i missing ? everyone talks of copying your "immoblizer hex". my ecu flash only has "immoblizer" which is a 4 digit number 2801. I simply select the 4 cells, CTRL C then CTRL V into the tephra rom but doesnt work.

I copy my original rom back to car and it starts straight away.

Feeling like a total retard as cant even get past the first step ?

original rom is 88580014, tephra is 88580714. car is a ADM 2007 evo 9 with many mods.

I recall that while "ECU Perphery0 (FAA) Bits" defined what each bit did, that and that the fourth bit was for the immobiliser, I had to disable it in hex in "ECU Perphery0 Hex", then the car started.

I have since got the car running with it enabled, but I'm running 96260709, so can't help with your missing table. Immobiliser Hex is necessary if you don't disable it in the periphery bits.

Edit: I mean fourth bit from the bottom, which is of course bit 3 like you have already said.
