What about the "Boost Desired Engine Load" table?
Can you put yours here, so i could that a look?

 

Won't help you much; BDEL is used to set the target load you're aiming for in orer to use boost error correction (BEC). Boost adder + BDEL = the load the ecu will be aiming for. So the BDEL will depend on your target load and boost adder, which are unlikely to be the same as mine.

 

i have a 2006 usdm evo 9 and cant seem to figure out how to get v7 to work i put v5 on and it was easy but am i not doing something right with putting it on. if anyone could help i would really appreciate it

yea sorry, well the xml files mine is 88590015 and i downloaded the 88590715 which should work with my car cause it is a usdm. well i add go through all the stuff to get to romdata and stuff where u can view like the 88590015 and at it there cause it said u dont half to patch it like i did v5. but when i open rom it doesnt look any diff nothing happens. sorry new to all this wanting to run this for the failsafes. v5 i just added it to my exsiting rom and saved it. but like i said it siad u dont half to do that anynmore? i just might not be understanding something clearly.

will i be able to control the boost just adjusting the WGDC table, leaving the BDEL with 0.0 value?

i dont have all the WGDC/BDEL tables visible in my v5.10, so im not realy sure how to set up.

 

You need to transfer your tune manually from your old 88590015 rom to the new 88590715 rom. The new patched rom will be in the zip archive you downloaded alongside the new xml definitions.

Yes you can use just the WGDC table if you want; the BDEL is only used when error correction is enabled. If you leave BDEL zero'ed out make sure you also zero out the right side of the boost error correction table.

i understand that i half to transfer my tune old to the new but what im not getting is the making it show all of the new modes. basically the install part of the tephra im not getting.i understand that u download it form the first page and then add it to the romdata evo files is that right cause when i do so nothing happens looks same .

ohh just to clear it up i got the v5 on car now and working but what im trying to do is get v7 working i got new computer but all roms saved but i need to make v7 show up on ecuflash , which i haven't been able to do

okay i am trying to install tephra v7 to my computer. i read the tephra thread on the first page and it said the u just add it to the xml files right? when u go to the c drive program files then and ecuflash then u go to romdata and go to evo to install the tephra to ecflash i thought it said u just add it there with all those other files? sorry have been on phone it sucks for typing and i havnt really looked at what i say sorry

 

The xml goes in the rommetadata/mitsubishi/evo folder. Then you open the .bin file that came in the archive with ecuflash and it should open with all the new tables available. Then you open your old rom alongside it and transfer your tune over.

 

this should be for my car. i downloaded the opition 2. what im not getting is how to install it to ecuflash u do the same as doing v5 but instead of editing the 88590015 and copy v5 and paste it u just add it to all the files for the evos right?

Ok. In the zip you have a .xml and a .bin. The xml goes in the rommetadata folder like you said. The .bin is your new v7 map that you open with ecuflash.

 

yes i understand all that i did that and i did that so after i add it to those files. i should go to ecuflash and open up the bin files like 88590015 like that be the name of it?
