okay let me try this real quick and see what happens i think i understand it now

The bin file you need to open is "88590715-TephraMod-recompile.bin"

W/ regard to ECU controlled boost.. i found the curve i like with the WGDC map (67%)... now i'm noticing under partial throttle and @100% TPS.. the turbo spools and once it reaches a peak boost for whatever throttle % i'm at i can hear a rapid pulsating hissing sound... almost like the wastegate it rapidly opening and closing rather then just staying open and maintaining the current boost pressure... from a look at my gauge pressure it stays constant... I noticed this occuring when i began testing for my boost curve.. with the WGDC set to 0 and BEC all set to 0.. the car runs off the wastegate spring roughly 12 psi and doesnt make the same sound under partial or full throttle once it peaks.... once the WGDC was set to a value that created a boost pressure above the spring rate (~12psi) and the BEC table still 0 it began doing this...

is this because i am not running 100% WGDC in any cell of my map like i was on a MBC? or is the BEC interval to low.. mine is set to 1.. and it is causing the ecu to correct boost levels too often?

by design my boost values peak at about 21 psi and taper down to 17.5-18 psi at redline? am i stressing the turbo too much and that is why its pulsating.... The car is showing no hesitation while the turbo goes through this cycle.. so if i am losing power it's definitely not noticeable.. my biggest fear is that the turbo is dieing... I have no indication of knock.. timing looks good and my afr's are all constant..

The clicking sound is normal, it's just the sound of the boost solenoid.

but it's coming from the turbo?

How do you figure that?

cuz it only makes that sound after boost... the spool up sounds normal... but once it reaches peak.. it begins to flutter..

Most likely because it's set to 100% WGDC during spool. Mine doesn't make any clicking at 0% or 100% WGDC. Only when it's in between.

^^^^^ You can mute the clicking sound nearly entirely by putting a rubber o-ring between the 3 port solenoid and the chassis.

I have no doubt. That clicking sound was driving me nuts after just a couple days of driving around with the EBCS, and the rubber o-ring did just the trick to make it go away. Surprisingly well in fact.

WGDC is set to 67% for every cell in the WGDC map... i disengaged the 100% WGDC till X load as well...

have you adjusted the WGDC correction interval? I found 1 was too small and caused the symptoms your describing and that a value of 5 removed it
