My 05 uses the 96940011 rom so i loaded the 96530706 v7 rom that's suggested from the 1st post of this thread to be used by all the USDM cars. I changed the immobilizer code to match what is in my 96940011 rom and my car isn't starting, it just cranks. Ive tried looking for a solution in the billion pages of this thread but can't find the fix. Does anyone know what the fix is?

Thanks

Did you set the immobilizer hex to 0x0058?

Yup I did set it to that. Im going to try to disable the immobilizer within the one periphery bit option and see if that fixes it I guess.

OK disabling the immobilizer didnt work. All i get is a constant ticking from some solenoid after I flash the rom. This is really pissing me off. Did anyone else with an 05 car have issues using the 9653706 rom and having the original 96940011 rom to start with?

Thanks

Have someone experienced a very rich AFR right after a cold start with 88580714? In the 9.8:1 range for 30 seconds or more. But if I move the car immediately the AFR goes to 12.5:1 that is normal for a cold start.

I've tried lowering the "start enrichment table" (post Crank Enrich Decay and Post Crank Enrich %) in the cold start area without effects.

My car, with that exact ROM, is super rich when started, but if revved up to 2-3k immediately the AFR stabilizes to 12.5 and quickly climbs up to 14.7.

Can you guys give an ETA when the 8858 updated XML definitions package would be released? Perhaps start a completely new thread, I know that the EDM faction would be extremely grateful to get this.

This exactly what I am experiencing! Have you tried something to solve?

*Probably* a couple mor days. I reorganized a lot of stuff including some of the Evo base file. If you only really use 8858 it's good but 8859 won't exactly follow suit. I've gone a tad personal in organizing but nevertheless 10x easier to sort thru. Plus a ton of added updated definitions. I'm holding out for advanced fuel control options

It's really aimed at v7 users 88580714 88582714 88586714 and not so much the 88580014 stuff

I'm quite new to this, so no, I haven't troubleshot it yet. I'm waiting for my tuner to sort most of the issues out once he is again available.

I am learning though and will start to experiment and bugfix at somepoint.

I want to use 88591715 SD for a evo IX, what tables do I need to change scaling to OMNI 4 bar, cause that is what I will use. So far I have changed these:

MAP scaling : changed the scaling manually to omni 4 bar
Boost Adder (PSI): PSIa16 OMNI4barMAP
Boost Desired Engine PSI: PSIa8 OMNI4barMAP
Alternate boost desired engine psi
Boost error correction

What other tables scalings needs to be changed?

What is the difference between PSIa8 and PSIa16 btw?

Hi everyone,
I need some help. The definition file for my JDM Evo7 ROM (98640014) is very poor resulting in incorrect readings when trying to make a log with 23 Psi boost. I have found here that my ROM can be substituted with 90550001 without any problem. Moreover, i read that there is Tephra version for that ROM which I would like to get (buy). Can anyone tell how can i get it?
Thanks
Shota
