Hi Tephra,

Have you got a V7 file for 88570008 (UK/ JDM Evo IX)?

Keep up the great work!

Cheers!

Not a big issue, just wanted to share a little bug in the valet mode routine:

Considering I have to let my car to a local shop on thursday night for giving it time to dry for a rust protection treatment, I switched it from dual map to valet mode. It's the first time I do it (tephra v7). I set the rev limiter at about 2500RPM, all is okay. But I found the RPM to be a little low for first gear.

I set it at 3100RPM and second and third gears REV limiter works. The issue is that you can pass through the Rev limiter in first gear. I think this has to do with the first gear accelerating too fast, not giving enough time to ECU to react. As soon as you pass this limit once, the car stays in valet mode, but has no valet REV limit in any gear. Issue disappear when shutting the car and switching back to normal map and returning to valet mode.

Sorry if my explanation is poor, this issue has not enough importance to spend an hour on it

Sorry if this is a repeat question. I purchased my car with the tephra mod installed. I want to get into it this weekend with a friend of mine who has a 1.3 cable. Where do I download software? Do I only need evoscan for 25$? Is the tephra software on a site I can download? Thanks in advance

Ecuflash is needed for tuning, and evoscan is needed for logging. Tephra mod doesn't change anything about software.

There is a definition file for each software (evoscan, ecuflash)
For Ecuflash, you need the right XML for your specific modded ROM from tephra v7 page.
For Evoscan, the xml pretty much contain everything you need.

Can anyone tell me if the OP is still current?

I bought a used Evo IX with a pro tuned rom (88590015). Rom has init code 173A.

I successfully unlocked it, and now would like to transition to Tehpra V7.

I'm not really a newb as I've had an Evo X in the past, but honestly I've forgotten more than I care to admit.

What's the easiest way to copy the tables to the Tephra big maps? Is there a tool for that?
Also, I assume for the init code, I should ensure its 0001 right?

The OP has the majority of bells and whistles. There have been some updates for advanced fuel controls and what not. Post #3 has the big map translator tool.

Thank you!

I would assume I would need to copy Fuel/Timing/MIVEC/Inj Scaling tables over to V7. Also, set Init code to 0001.

The rest can be ironed out later right?

What should I use for immobilizer?

For Immobiliser and Immobiliser hex, you have to use what you had in your stock ROM.

Copied the immobilizer code to V7, unfortunately my current working rom (88590015) doesn't list immobilizer hex. I'm not sure if it's missing XML's to see it or if it's disabled in FAA.

My FAA bit 2 is set to "0"

Any help?

I had to copy two different numbers for the immobilizer. Not near my laptop, but you'll see it of you open all the tabs that say immobilizer.
