Nice involvement on the ALS subject, I appreciate it.
I have a couple ECUs 6 and 7, all JDM and will post pictures when I find the time to take them, in order to add to your pictures.
If someone has the logging request for the SAS/ALS routine and knows how to incorporate that into OBD/Evoscan, then that would be a good diagnostic tool. Additionally (and that's what I did so far), logging IPW helps to find just about anything is happening.
ROM: On the table value side I don't feel like truely plausible tables have been made public/exist, nor the proof of functional ALS on stock ECU has been made. Thus there are 12 more or less known dependant and independant variables no one is sure to the result about. When considering ALS being that rather sophisticated routine, it would be a great starting point to have valide values to activate. If you like, you would need to remind yourself of the fact that ALS is a deceleration routine...
It would be so very nice to get a fresh grip on the ancient Evo stock ROM ALS hunt. Which is one I have spent more hours chasing than willing to admit.
Cheers
Kris

Does anyone know if the 94170715 rom can be used with the IAT wire being used instead of the fuel temp sensor wire ? Or if so how i could go about changing to use the IAT wire if possible.
Trying to make a switch the 94170715 rom with 3D Speed density. Currently running 9653 V7 speed density with the IAT wire being used.
Having a no start issue and im thinking thats my problem.

Hi all, I am running the usdm evo 9 v7 rom on an edm model (since there is no rom for edm evo9). It's throwing a P0107 cel as the edm doesn't have a map sensor. Anyway to disable this using periphery bits?

I had a similar issue on 9653 variants and it was related to the way the rear o2 was disabled. There are threads related to this if you search for the the DTC code returned.

I am on track of something but onfortunately my car is off the road at the moment, somebody suggeted me to change a byte in the code in order to activate the solenoid output. I have compared it to ROMS which have approved ALS working but now I need to test it... will be continued!
