ok, just finished up swapping all of the maps, flashed it to the car, and she fired right up! 
V7, here I come baby! Gonna start playing w/ it very soon!
I was a lil leary about disabling all of the EGR stuff, but seems to be idling just fine. Gonna do some logging on the way home, and make sure my Rpm/Speed to gear map is the same as my V6 map, and go from there...

^^^^LOLOLOL good one tephra. Newbs, can't live with them.... can't bust out the flame thrower without them

Tested so far:
-AFR and Timing on launch maps (though I was seeing 3* lower, I think it was from knock)
-Alt-map (bigmap) timing and fuel
-standard map timing and fuel (at idle)
-Narrowband sim patch (mrFred) appears to be working correctly (need to drive more first)
----UPDATE: THIS IS NOT working yet. It is hunting for the correct AFR but my trims are wacko. MrFred has told me he will take a look when he is done with some other very important very good things
