Any idea of the culprit at all? Have any of you other 88590715 guys had this problem?

I can just edit the xml everytime I need to copy stuff from my old 5.10 map to make it work anyway.

Thanks Tephra,
I hope to get in on the testing tomorrow. I'll make an effort in the afternoon. Deposit coming soon!

N00bish question. Can I patch in Mr.Fred's PSI based boost control?

Probably forgot to add the scale

<scaling name="Percent (128)" units="%" toexpr="x/1.28" frexpr="x*1.28" format="%.0f" min="0" max="100" inc="1" storagetype="uint8" endian="big"/>

is it possible to turn on MAT mod running Option 4 (v7 + Mods) ? Want to see efficiency of my intercooler (using GM MAT sensor connected to fuel temp input, running on evo 8 edm). When I open hex file in ecuflash all tables are screwed. Any sugestions how to fix it ?

Download recompile's version, it is already been pre-patched for Mr.Fred's PSI-based and JDM Map sensor and cleaned up xml.

INSTRUCTIONS: Copy all XML files to %Program Files%\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo . No editing needed.

IMPORTANT: If you do not have a JDM MAP, revert all tables in the "MAPSensor" category back to your old ROM's settings. Also, set FEA bit.14 (MAP vs. Baro) to 1.

These are all changes applied to this ROM:
  • Setup for JDM MAP and PSI based boost control (mrfred)
  • WGDC Correction Interval set to 1 (Stock = 10)
  • Max Total Upward WGDC Correction @ 100% TPS set to 0 (Stock = 10)
  • EGR System Disabled (mrfred)
  • Max Timing Retard set to -20 degrees (tephra)
  • FAA bit.10 disabled ("weird unknown" timing pull at cruise)
  • FAA bit.09 disabled (cat-warmup ignition retard)
  • FBA bit.00 disabled (lean spool)
  • FCA bit.09 disabled (EGR Test)
  • OBD Inspection set to Pass all tests (acamus)
  • Rear O2 Heater patch applied (mrfred)
  • Airflow Rate calculation patch applied (mrfred)
  • Fuel Cut Load Limit x2 and set to 300 (mrfred)

Here are all EvoScan data items that are added with this patch (the Lbs/min below is ACTUAL, not estimated, thanks to Airflow rate calc patch):

PHP Code:
        <DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Load1Byte" LogReference="Load1Byte" RequestID="41" Eval="1.2*x" Unit="load" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="270" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="270" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />
        <
DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Boost Error" LogReference="BoostError" RequestID="8A" Eval="0.0241*x-3.087" Unit="psi" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-25" GaugeMax="25" ChartMin="-25" ChartMax="25" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />
        <
DataListItem DataLog="Y" Color="" Display="Lbs/min" LogReference="LbsMin" RequestID="46" RequestID2="47" Eval="0.00312*x" Unit="lbs/min" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="10000" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="10000" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />
        <

No, it was the after patch, and it is definitely NOT working. It is hunting for the correct AFR, but the trims are WAY off....

Once we launch the revised XML's, they will already hav the MAT tables pre-loaded as well as a ton of other patch tables that get commonly used

I may be splitting up the XML files a bit so we have a 9653x706_Base.XML which gets used in all 9653x706 versions. The base xml has all of the stock tables that work with any version of 96530006 since they control all of the factory tables and maps.

As we find more and more tables/maps in the stock ROM we'll only need to update one XML file wihout really interfering with anything else, but every v7 patched version will always stay 'current'

More noob ?s

I apologize if I missed it, but if I wait patiently a 96530706 MAT patched version will be coming?

I couldn't find just the 96530006 patch to add to Phenom's ROM in the MAT thread, only a pre-patched, pre V7 ROM.

Thanks

ARRRRG! What am I doing wrong? I changed as stated and my maps got even darker and uglier. Is there something else that needs to be changed?

I'm trying to move some of my E85 settings from 94170014 v5.1 to the new 96530706 v7.0. Old ROM is in Celsius and new ROM is in Fahrenheit.

I think I can manage the axis conversion.

I'm stumped by the data conversion when it is simply "steps". Maybe I'm overlooking the obvious? HELP! PLEASE!

Thanks,
Jim
