A question, how could I log Mivec, as MUT40 and MUT41 are used for 1byte gear
1byte load..

I'm not using boost control in the ECU because I have an AVCR, thanks for your answer
Paste the MUT values into those MUT locations from a rom where they were logged properly.

Thanks for your answer, I've actually never log my mivec... You mean I have to use 0x7650 and 0x7651 in MUT40 and MUT41? I m using 1Byte load, I forgot to specify it in my first post.

i think someone posted before that below 25deg temp, the temp compensated load was used and over 25deg baro+temp compensated load was used in ign and fuel. thats from the MAF sensor.

Here is info from mrfred that I had saved in my notes:

spark advance lookup: For air temp below 77F, baro+airtemp compensated load is used for spark advance. For temps above 77F, then baro compensated load is used.

afr lookup: for closed loop conditions when load is < ~20, uncompensated load is used, otherwise, baro+airtemp compensated load is used. This means that baro+airtemp compensated load is used essentially all the time for AFR lookup.

I am on 96260009 and I am using 2 byte load with 8984 and 8985 as the mut 00 and mut 01 addresses. I believe that this is 2byte load raw...will try 2byte load baro and temp...

what loads are u using to put in your BDEL tables - the loads gained from 2byte load + baro?
havent got to bdel as i am still tuning and dont want these other table skewing the results of the log and messing me around.

i presume the other xmls will be wrong too.
Thanks for posting this ziad. BTW, I'm using the basic 96530706 ROM. I first noticed this a few weeks ago, but I did not know the solution until now. Been struggling all this time trying to get the car to start in cool/cold weather.

Much appreciated.

Exactly. As several others have noted, load_raw/1byte load can be way, way off baro+temp compensated values -- as much as 30%.

^^^ so i am guessing that you guys generally use 2byte baro+temp to tell what cells the car is accessing?

Yup, using exactly that on my 96530706 and it is spot on.
Still need to try just Baro, but since the Temp and Baro work perfectly for me, there is no point really.

Using the RAW values at my high altitude skews the load cells quite a bit.

I have a little problem; on my v6 (88590615) the boost is set up to hit 28 psi. When I use v7, it can't go past 20 psi plus is very laggy. I'm using direct boost control with gm three port; like i said.....on my v6 it works flawless. Actually, the WGDC goes to 33 and stay at 33 for the entire run. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like you did your direct boost control mod wrong. Revisit it and report back...

I will verify again but I'm pretty sure all the tables were copy from the v6 to the v7. The only difference was I had drop boost at high knock enable on v7...........there was no knock on the run btw.
