guys I have a problem with the TephraMod V7, I tested it on an EVO8 2003 model, car runs now the 94170008 and it runs great, I copied my fuel and timing map over, used teh big map translator excel sheet and went for a test drive, once the car feel boost, it would run so rich that it flooded the spark plugs, I had everything in the tephra options turned off and yet the problem was not resolved, I have never had any luck using tephramod, I have tried the V5 and 5.1 before and had some issues, but this V7 I am so excited to use, what should I check, everything I looked at just look normal, I went back to the tuned 94170008 and now all is back to normal.

PEACE

Yes. I've had problems with the universal evo 8 rom as well so I went back. Too much problem. The v5.1 seems better.IMHO

Lean Spool disabled, I watched every table that I think is related to fueling and all seems to be the same btn the original file and the TephraV7. I did not try the V5.10 lately, I guess I should give it a try.

i went back to 5.1 and couldn't be happier. i've found i don't need most of the stuff included in ver7. that and i just don't have the technological knowhow to make it all work right. i just wanna drive my car and make adjustments where i need to. i have no need for all the extra bells and whistles.

i'll leave ver7 to the tuners.

well I mainly need tephra options just for valet, and to disable lean spool and rear o2 sim, I know I can do the lean spool and o2 sim and immo disable without the tephra options, but what about valet mod??
Kaj: what is ur original car ecu ID? which v5.1 are you using I mean with which file?

I've switched to v7 yesterday and got this DTC code: ecuID:e4bd Anything I can do with that? I have the evo 8 2003 USDM.
