Kaj: what is ur original car ecu ID? which v5.1 are you using I mean with which file?

yep. 5.1 has valet. it's one of the options i use as well. my original was 88590013. i then upgraded to 88590015 and it's been working flawless since. i am using the tephramod ROM for my car so i get valet, NLTS, disable lean spool, 02 sim, EGR and FPR disable, etc, etc. do a search for 5.1. it's a HUGE thread.

if my tuner ever wants to swap to ver7 and can make it work, cool. 'till then: i'll stick with 5.1 'cause i understand it well enough to use.

You'll like it. I'm running fine with an 04 evo.

What baudrate are you guys running with this, at the moment I have a OP2 cable and i'm logging only 9 items and its averaging about 5Hz.

Is it possible to change the MUT rate to 62500 instead of 15625

Cheers
Andy

Yes.

However, I assume you mean you have an OBD-II cable. The MUT baudrate doesn't affect slow OBD-II performance.

Original ROM 94170015
Loaded Option 4 (MAF w/Mods +ECU boost control)
JDM 3BAR MAP
AEM EBC Solenoid

Here's the datalog. You can see my Boost error correction is working etc, but the solenoid is not activating or controlling boost. I checked all of the addresses in ECUFlash and they're all set correctly for psi boost control.

The XML contains the MAP sensor information for like 6 map sensors including the one that I use... I'm not sure how I select that I'm using the JDM MAP sensor and deselect the rest FOR BOOST CONTROL. It obviously reads correctly because it's logging right.

Thank you for all of your help in advance.

The first problem to tackle is why you're not getting boost despite the apparent high WGDC values. Have you verified that the solenoid is operating correctly and the hoses are attached correctly?

The hoses are attached correctly... it's the same setup I had on my car...wired into a friends car.

I run a .040" aluminum restrictor between the compressor inlet and the AEM inlet port (center port)
I run the line to the wga out the left side... and the filter/muffler out the right hand side.

The only thing I can think is that the ECU is not sending the signal to the right address. Usually when I flash a car with an EBC it oscillates the valve and it makes a ticking sound. That doesn't happen.

Hi I have an Tactrix openport 2 cable and assumed that when logging with evoscan it uses the MUT protocol as it accesses the MUT table?

Load up a stock 94170015 and see if the solenoid works properly.

The thing that really stands out to me there is that you don't have a ton of positive WGDC correction, even though you are at wastegate boost levels. Are you sure your boost adder is set properly?

If that is not the case it might be likely that you are using an incorrect scaling to log and or view the ECUFlash tables.

I have been trying to get 96530706 to run on a JDM EvoVII, this car runs very well on the 90550001 V5.10, but 90550001 is not yet available in V7. I have not had a total success with 96530706, the car runs and drives, but continually shows a P0135 despite disabling several periphery bits associated with the front 02 heater, which P0135 indicates.

So I'll wait patently for the V7 for the JDM car.

There is a rear O2 heater patch to stop that CEL. Disabling the periphery bits is not the correct way to go about it (and can mess up your fuel control routines).

That's interesting, the P0135 indicates a front O2 heater fault, I'll try the patch and see how it goes.
