I have very little drop if any when using nlts. Thats really the point in using it, keeping max boost and not having to worry about recover time.

That might be just what I need then, sometimes my car falls off boost if I shift it at the wrong time especially in 4th gear...how much more stress is added to the transmission by using NLTS?

that is subject to interpritation..some people say it puts more on some say less..Me personally my tranny works better using it when hammering the gears. Now remember using it takes a little practice. Your brain is set to lift off the gas in a shift, you need to think about keeping the gas floored the first several times you do it.

Hey, I have an edm evo9, and trying to use 88580714.
I tried to add the following (from 88840017):

Knock sensitivity load threshold
knock background noise multiplier
knock backround noise adder (tripple gain)
knock background noise adder (single gain)

I copied them from the previous xml to this one, but they didn't show on
Ecuflash.

Any ideas?

make sure you don't have "word wrap" selected on which ever program you are using to view/edit the XML files.

Hi guys, just need a little help here, I've got ROM 88590715 which I just downloaded, is it normal for the MIVEC, IDLE, FUEL tables to not show up. I know that it's because they don't have any "address" definitions in the XML file. I know how to make them show up, my question is why are they not available? Is there a reason for this? thanks

copy and paste in the MUT section....

right click the data.xml and click edit....it opens in notepad.

Scroll down and you will see the Mut section, its close to the top and you will see the other data items - TPS, RPM etc.

Paste it in there somewhere and then save it....make a copy of the original and name it data_original before you modify it so u can go back if u muck up.

Once you save it then open evoscan and u can go into data settings and rearrange stuff so its more organized with what you log.
