This has been checked by EvoKid and Appauldd - so it should be ok, but as usual do your own validation tests and report your results here

Also, I have tested 94170015 v5.1 on an ACD equipped 2005 EVO 8. The car has been running the ROM for three months. Car runs and drive perfectly. No check engine lights. No ACD error codes/lights. Since the ACD has its own ECU, and since all other market EVO 8 had ACD, 94170015 V7 should also work fine on an '05
Still it would be great for other '05 owners to test 9417 on their cars and report the findings.

You will find that, at least from my testing, you will have very little, if any, issues from running the 9417 version.
Keep in mind that it is only for 03-04 VIIIs so far. There has been some tests in 05s but not enough to conclude it works flawlessly.
In addition, we are still in the process of building a complete XML listing for 9417. Thus, you will only have a very limited number of tables to tune.

You can use either 9653 or 9417...both work for USDM cars.

Don't know if I did something wrong, but I downloaded 9417 and noticed there isn't an immobilizer hex. I tried it without it, and no dice...so I threw it in there and it worked. Just want to let you guys know.

I dont think the xml is complete with all available tables but there should be enough to get you started.

Hey. I am running now v 5.10, which have 'single" boost table. I wish to go with V7, but I wonder, what should I do, when I don't want to use gear based boost control? Should I paste my old "single" baseline boost map to every gear separetely or is it impossible to go V7 when I have disconnected gearbox harness ?
