n00b Here: 96940011 Serious RPM Hang

Hello fellas,

I recently switched my 2005 back over to the stock ECU from the AEM. I am currently running Buschur Stage 3 motor and Head, BF272 cams, Walboro 255, BR stages 1-4 with Precision 880 Injectors, and a stock Evo 9 Turbo.

Needless to say I have been trying to catch up on all of the advances in the stock ecu world. My one problem now is the 2005 throttle hang plague. Whenever I accelerate quickly i.e. 50% throttle or greater and rev past 4k my rpms raise or stay between 5-6k. They will not drop until I engage a higher gear and let the clutch out, forcing the revs to drop.

I have read the following threads in great detail and I still believe I am missing the boat.

^^ In the thread above there is a lot of references to the decel fuel cut. I would like to fiddle around with those parameters to see if they help, I do not have them defined in my 96940011 Rom. Does anybody have a fully defined 96940011 ROM with all of the current patches?

I have also been curious as to being able to convert the car over to a 2003-2004 ecu thus using a ROM that does not have this inherent problem. Has anyone been able to do this or is it not possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am clueless on where to start. I understand donations are welcomed here and I have no problem contributing.

Thanks for your time,

Eric
