timing recomendations new logs page 2
im using a stock 90550001 rom with 2byte load enabled and getting some high knock counts attached. weirdly my timing figures in the log dont match those in the high octane ignition map, anyone care to offer any advice or recomendations.
im logging at 15625 baud as apposed to the 62500 others recomend as at this fast baud rate the signals go crazy

I dont have a way to look at the log on this computer, but...Your timing probably isn't matching because it is being reduced by the ecu seeing the knock. Reduce the timing in the areas with knock and smooth out the entire map.

First thing that I see is that your TPS isn't set correctly. Looks like somebody has been wrenching on the car that doesen't have a full grasp of things.
Secondly your coming in with fairly aggressive timing, but the car takes it. At about 4500rpm's the car starts to complain.
Fix your TPS, check for boost leaks, and reduce timing.

this might be a bit off topic, but when I try to open your log file, it opens in excel, which is fine, but it opens all the data in just 1 cell, making it impossible to read/interpret the data, does anyone know how I can solve this problem? thank you..
