#65 pill and 44mm WG
So, I just removed my FP Red setup w/ 20psi Forge WGA and installed my PT6262 w/ 44mm Tial WG w/ 20psi spring.
I have the vac lines setup the same way as before, which include a #65 pill before the T to the WG/Solenoid.
On the Forge, 0% WGDC would reduce me to wastegate pressure, 20psi.
On the Tial, 0% WGDC raises me from 20psi to 30psi !
I ran the vac line directly to the WG to make sure it's opening normally at 20psi, and it is. I triple checked WGDC in both ROM and datalogs, and in both cases it's 0%. I'm using Tephra v7, and I lowered the "100% WGDC Under This Load" to 10 Load, so the solenoid is basically never actuating.
So my question is... is my #65 pill to blame? Is this just too restrictive of a pill to allow the Tial to operate at base pressure even with 0% DC ?
Thanks, in advance.

On the other hand, the Tial WG (I had a 38mm Tial on my Red EVO VIII RS) is set up so spring pressure is accurate with an un-restricted boost source connected directly to the actuation nipple. They have no clue what car it is going on, so it is configured for a "direct" boost source.
A hack job option instead of changing boost pills would have been to go with a lighter spring in the Tial... they have a HUGE range of optional springs you can purchase. The problem with a lighter spring is that when you reach boost pressure aprox 2.5x spring pressure (depending on the A/R of your turbine housing) the wastegate starts to open just from the exhaust pressure on the valve. Your solution was the better choice by far
