e85 and 2.3 injector scaling.

Ok so if you going to e85 its approx 70 % of your injector size.... if you have a 2.3 stroker do you then possibly go another 15% due to displacement??

^ Try 1994 scaling or whatever the ecuflash will input with that number. Latencies your on your own, it's pretty much just a long and drawn out guessing game. GL

Question? If i change my injector scale would it change my whole tune?
I just got the car tuned but the scaling looks a little off and the car idle's like crap and i keep getting p0171 system too lean.
I am running 1050cc btw

current settings
(886 cc/min)
batt ms
4.68 3.312
7.03 1.680
9.38 1.032
11.72 0.672
14.06 0.432
16.41 0.264
18.68 0.144

Those are the stock latencies, you need to adjust them to match your bigger injectors. There are examples on the first page.

what are your fuel trims at?

if you lowered your injector scaling it would add fuel, so yes, it would change the fueling part of your tune

Check back on the first page of this thread as most of the sizes for gas and E85 are listed. Didnt know they had E85 down in kiwiland?

You need to have them latencies corrected... and when you do, your gonna need a full re-tune. And if you paid someone to do that already after the injector install then you might want to consider taking it back and asking politely in a demanding fashion that they correct there over sight.
