Maps for Rally Evo IX with turbo restrictor???
Hi Guys,
A friend of mine just finished his IX rally evo and is about to make some gravel tests.
I will be pleased to help him having his car retune so I would like to know if some of you have been tuning on a Rally Gr.N Evo.
I know that the basic rules are 2.5" exhaust and turbo restrictor (38 or 45mm) and I guess that tune should be oriented to torque and usefull RPM range...
Can someone please help me to start with this?
Thank you and will wait for you @ Rally Mexico, march 4-7 2010!
Cheers,

First thing to think of is that the car will not have ALS which should be a big problem in a gravel rally. I tuned some cars with restrictor and is not really a big problem. The problems appear with the knock corrections because the rally car is very noisy for the knock sensor and the ecu will not know what to do with the timing.
The lack of ALS made a lot of problems to the pilots of this cars unfortunately and they all passed to standalone ecus.
