ah yes. i altered the scale in the v7 to reflect what i had in my old rom.
i used the xml from the phenem package iirc
my loads are 260 max so why would i need the 500 load scale.
just noticed you also only have 1 tab in the map defintion edit but i have 2 ! ?
looking at the 2 xml tephramod 96530706 and 96532706 the 2 has TOO smaller kb size to be the whole definition! ?

to me it looks like u have decreased the number of elements. so basically instead of having 30 colums and 25 colums u have gone back to the 5.10 of 19/20... this decreases ur actual table size. the car ecu still goes on the original one given by tephra (as its expecting 30/30 elements) and hence will the see the map i posted.

if u want ur scale then just leave the scale as it is.. it goes to 500 but u only use till 260 of the map. rest dont need to edit but IT DOES need to remain there.

hmm not sure if i explained properly. but yeah change the xml elements to 30x30 in both fuel and ign. otherwise car will not run properly

my maps start from 0 load and 0 rpm!
but v7 doesn't
so do i just copy from those points?
i also have 750rpm and a 1250 so when pasted the original values are in the wrong cells?
.

when you copy/paste make sure they go into the same load/rpm, so you may need to do it row by row or do it manually if you have more rpm points on one map. same with load, some roms skip certain values (ie 97250001 goes from 60 to 80 and 80 to 100 missing 70 & 90).

yes thx veszett. i did clock that when doing it and did it exactly as you described actually
i was a little bothered i lost some of those map points and what bothers me even more is the scales not starting from 0 for rpm and load is it not a problem ? as in my aftermarket ecu days we would ramp ignition and fuel in the very low rpm's 2,3,400 to prevent stalling

at idle my revs are between 843-875rpm and load 17-20. i dont know what the load is under 500rpm coz mine doesn't get that low and im sure it would stall at 2-3-400rpm regardless of what the timing/fuel was, its just not designed to idle there. anyway i think the first value is what the ecu aims for if it is under that, same as the last value is what it uses if it exceeds it. so whatever you set 500 for would be what the ecu aims for at 2-3-400. guessing.

i'm presuming i need to play with starting ipw etc however
my car will not start on the first key its trying but won't
but on the second attempt it starts exactly as stock i.e perfect but i have lots of dtc's !
now this happens every single time i must have tried it 40 times
first key no start
second key starts instantly but then a cell
when i clear them they go and cell goes off
but every time i start it i get a big list of dtc always different to the last

.

nope neither i will now tho
when started the idle was high 1800 then fell to the perfect 875 in around 1-2mins tho so i just presumed it self learnt/adjusted to meet desired idle?
after a nice idle was obtained and the engine warm i did expect the next start to get to a low idle quickly but it did the same process

seems like the ecu does not like this rom at first flash.
everytime i flash it i get the list of dtc's as before and have to reset dtc's
however after that and a ignition off then back on all seems fine.
i had to adjust the idle stepper table to stop the revs dipping when approaching a junction. not sure wether thats right but it does EXACTLY what i wanted and revs do not dip when coming off the throttle while moving.
i must add it would only dip while moving never when stationary and just revving it then letting the revs fall! ???
i did the 16min idle and 16 minute cruise but i never seen the trims move and they are rediculously good! ? the only trim i saw move was idle from .1806 to .0640 ! ?
