TephraV7 Load Based Boost

Ok this isn't the plain old "help I cant tune boost" thread.

Im using V7 with load based boost control. Using an AEM BCS. Rom is 88590715. Im targeting load using mrfreds method below.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...trol-mods.html

My e85 30psi map was fine. Running 100% WGDC up top to hold as much as possible. Now with my pump gas map, Im only trying to hold a steady 24psi, which should take around 80% as it looks.

My WGDC is shooting to 100% around 76000 rpm and up, at first this was because my (wastegate = 100% below this load) was to high(So I thought). I figured I was just tapering below that load setting. Which was weird because it was set at 220, while my 1 byte load was only tapering to around 260 by redline. I knew it was not TBEC because it was zeroed out for initial tuning. I kept lowering the (wastegate = 100% below this load) to try to get rid of spike at high rpm when load would drop. It is now zeroed out, and it STILL shoots to 100% WGDC just not until 7500 rpm. Once again, Im holding 260 1 byte load at redline. Wastegate activate/deactivate rpm is 8000.

Since using mrfreds boost control mod, load will not change nearly as much with air temp, so my MAF AIT table is zeroed out too!

Im thinking this may be because of using mrfreds boost control mod with V7. Has anyone else used this method of load targeting with V7?

One more concern, I might try to just use the stock load target variable instead of the 2 byte. My problem with doing so is...It will change alot with air temp, but there is the MAF AIT Table to compensate for this. Although, doesn't it just change base wgdc? So won't it try to hit that wgdc at first then be corrected back again? Or is the BDEL table also corrected with the air temp wgdc table.

Mods are: BBK Full turbo, Kelford 272 IX Cams, all other bolt ons.

Thanks for any help guys

Its not a tuning error trust me.

It seemed to be problem that occured during the flash, the rom would come back different after being read. All is well now. If anyone has this happen to them feel free to PM me for help.
