I guess you can try either copy 96940011 XML file and make a 96940013 XML file or just temporarily rename the 96940011 XML file to 96940013 and see if you can read tables correctly.
The file locations is C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
Hope this helps.

It's a newer version of the 9694 line-up. Anyone with a USDM '05 should be getting that image flashed from the dealer if the car ends up there for service.
96940011 is close, but a bunch of stuff moved a small amount. Some tables will appear correct, but there's a lot that will look garbled (if memory serves, axes in particular got shoved around a bit).
At some point, I'll probably sit down with the stock 0011 EcuFlash definitions and try to locate all of it's tables in 0013, just so people new to this aren't thrown in the deep end of changing their ROM right off the bat. There's not that many tables.
(I've actually been meaning to do a diff between 11 and 13, just to see what changed. I'm curious what was important enough to issue an update for this late in the game.)

Oh, I didn't know that Mitsu did another update for 05 EVOs. I thought 96940011 was the latest one, and he was mentioning tuner locking out, so I thought some tuner did some trick on the ID number. But I hope 96940011 and 13 share most maps, so that he can start looking at some tables.

Maybe its P0300 related. But honestly if you don't know exactly what you are doing I would read a lot in this forum or get some local help before doing any changes. You can always go Tephra V7.

As I said, if 13 and 11 shares lots of tables, you can still do minor tuning. Try 11 XML. XMLs themselves do not affect the rom you have unless you make changes to the rom, since it is just a definition file.

I did it for you just download it into your rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo folder
Exact location:
C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
The file is an attachment here as a zip file good luck

If you'd rather not just download something from the Internetwebs, you can go to C:\Program Files\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo and copy the file 96940011.xml to 96940013.xml. Then, open the new file up in notepad, and change the lines near the beginning that say <xmlid>96940011</xmlid> and <internalidhex>96940011</internalidhex> to be 96940013 instead of 96940011. That's pretty much what RoadSpike did in his version.
If that doesn't work out well (and I suspect it won't), rather than downgrading to 96940011, you might be better served by just switching to tephra's v7 release, although that's a hell of a first introduction to flashing.
See the wiki for information on switching from 96940011 to 96530006; that's pretty similar to what you'd need to do to switch from 0013 to a 9653 tephra ROM.
