Maf Rescaling

I was reading through a tuning book that I bought off amazon. It said that you can rescale maf sensors when you max it out or it is "pegged". It said when you rescale the maf sensor your supposed to adjust the size of the injectors corresponding to the amount you adjust the maf scaling. It also said that rescaling your maf sensor will through off your calc. load readings unless you adjust the displacment of the motor in the ecu? Has anyone heard of any problems like this when rescaling the maf? Can anyone explain exactly what uses the maf scaling tables, as well as maf compensation tables. Is there more to rescaling the maf than just looking at fuel trims and adjusting the maf scaling table?

I have stock injectors HKS Intake, 280cams, exh. ect. My fuel trims are around +12 to +11 I would like to get them at least near 0.

chmodlf, I know how to rescale the maf, but I was wonding if the maf scaling and maf compensation tables could through anything else off, like calc load.

no the maf scaling does not figure in the loadcalc

5*InjScaling*([InjPulseWidth]-(-0.1026*[Battery]+1.8741))/[AFRMAP]
