Car RPMs drop and Shuts down when connected to EvoScan
So experienced another weird issue today:
Temperature - 34 F
EvoScan - 2.5
Tactrix - 1.3
Evo IX
I have logged before and I get ABS and ACD lights flashing.
Well today I went to log and I connected my laptop using the tactrix and serial LC1. I turn car on, connect cables to car then connect to laptop. I start to pull out and get about 30ft and the car stutters and shuts down all the way. I think it's a fluke so I disconnect everything and drive to another spot and then this time I connect tactrix and serial wideband to running laptop before turning on the car. I get about 60 feet and feel the rpms start to drop and the car hesitate. Shut it down and disconnect everything and the car runs normal.
Any ideas? I've logged before this this cable and laptop and it seemed to work fine other than the ABS and ACD flashing. Could it be the cable, my evoscan or the fact that I'm connecting via serial cable? I'm leaning towards it being an issue with the tactrix.
thanks

Ok just tried again and SAS was not enabled. Also it has to be EFI. Anyways, went to log and when I started to drive it a little harder the ABS light flashed really quick and I felt car starting to choke. What the heck can be the issue? Should I try reinstalling my drivers?

Bump, when I use my friends older tactrix cable and laptop it logs fine. When I use my cable and laptop the car almost dies. I start to push the throttle and the ecu chokes and car basically hiccups but stays on. Hard to describe. It's almost as if having the cable hooked up affects my ecu when it shouldn't since it's just connected and not logging.

Try with your cable and your friends laptop and vice versa to eliminate down to the actual problem!
It is possible you also have injectors or a fuel pump turned off with evoscan.
