Launch Control WTF?

I decided to mess around with launch control maps (tephra v7) and took some logs. Here's what I came up with.

Everything seems to jump around so much and of course the super high knock numbers. This is on E85. Any insight and advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

interesting try easing up off the throttle so that its a little (10% ?) past the poit were it activates the 2step... also i honestly dont think its practical in "violent" situation like this that actual afr will match map.. try dropping map afr to 8s-7s. and see ..

Violent things are happening, violent reactions occur. There is plenty of data on this on the forums.

If nothing is hitting and you are still knocking really hard, try easing into the throttle rather than just mashing it. That usually takes care of that problem for most people.

I did ease into it. It actually took me 5-10 seconds to get from idle to full throttle. Unless that is too fast. I did some quick searching, but didn't come up with much. I'll look a little deeper.

I know I'm not supposed to get a smooth log, but I didn't think it would be so extreme.

Yeah, I know. I need to change that offset number in Evoscan, but it won't let me edit data list items from Evoscan. I just haven't done it in the xml yet.

I'm having the same issues. Lots of knock with my launch control. I'm also running E85. I'm going to try "easing into it" to see if that helps, because every time I used it last year, I just mashed it (autox).
