My understanding is that EDM Evo 9s are somewhat different than JDM/UK Evo 9s. Did your car come stock with a 3 bar MAP sensor, an IAT sensor, and dual boost control solenoids?

Hi mrfred,

NO.....I just change my manifold with a JDM version of IX RS.
This version came with MAP and IAT sensor on the manifold already.
It was a little difficult with the harness but I manage to make the connection to the ECU.
Don`t know if the IAT that I have is good for SD but I will try it.
I think the car is ready for this......

In EDM if you buy a RS version of IX (if you still found one)....those cars are sold in rallying purpose and they came with dual solenoid, map and iat already....
15" wheels , no recaro seats,no air conditioning,etc

Was the launch control issue sorted out on the Tephra v7 for the JDM IX?

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but I'm having some problems trying to get this ROMID to work in V1.42 (the car is actually 80920002 but inherits 88570008) I've copied over both XML's but still getting "unknown rom image"
It works fine on V1.29a...any ideas

Which ign tables are the right ones to tune?

I have hi #4 , then hi1 lo 1 hi2 lo2, hi3 lo3.

What is number four's purpose?

plus I have a hi oct alternate and a lo octane alternate?

Which ones work?

use hi octane ign map 4 , for alt maps you need the ics spray button and enable it in mod options enable alt maps master auto ics =2 or wire in a switch and use adcof=1

and what bit to disable immobilizer completely?

Also, there is an alternate lo oct ign table, which Ive never seen before and Im just not sure if thats a v5 thing?

Which timing map(s) are the main lo oct ign tables?

I assume the original 3 lo oct tables are used as low, and the #4 like you said is the hi.

Lots of not so developed stuff here. The SD map VE calibration shows up scrambled

I appreciate this being here but Im not feeling confidence in flashing this particular rom quite yet. Im not smart enough for some of these fixes
