EvoScan Engine Diagnostic Code Support?
I searched and read a bunch, but I want to double check that the DTC feature of EvoScan is NOT supported for USDM Evo9?
I downloaded the ScanTech software to give that a try. Really wish my generic code reader didn't need to be almost permanently attached to the GF's VW on the other side of the country....
Thanks,
-matt

Nevermind; I went out to car to get lunch, plugged my computer in and it worked fine...
Thanks!

Had this same issue with the latest release, but this is with a VIII ECU. Sent in a ticket, he said he was going to look into it. Every now and then i can get it to pull the dtc's and clear. But i have to keep trying and trying. Pretty annoying.

I posted this in the other thread and thought Id post it here too.
I have noticed that the DTC clearing/reading on EVOscan can be temperamental.
Usually the only way I get it to work is with laptop on, cables plugged in, open evoscan and then immediately try to read or erase DTC.
That method makes it work for me 90% of the time.

I am also having this issue. I've tried both v2.7 and 2.8 with very little success. I've also tried the method suggested above. I'd say it works maybe 10% of the time for me. Gotta love it. Sent Hamish a support ticket also. Just waiting for a response. What OS are you guys running?
