how to use evoscan and ecu flash on mac

well just got a mac what do i have to get in order for those two programs to work help me out thanks guys

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.

You need MacLogger and ECUFlash for Mac.

Or put Virtual Box on there and run Windows on that.

maclogger?? where do i aquire that and i tried ecuflash on my computer but it dont work

However, there's some trickiness you have to do if you want to log and flash from the same laptop.

bump on this, just order my cable to and now i realize that evoscan doesnt work on macs without bootcamp.

They require different drivers. You have to uninstall the driver used for logging in order to flash.

You can also use virtualbox, which is free and doesn't require a reboot.

No, but there are free logging applications for windows and mac.

Anyone tried running evoscan with wine on the mac?

I have been able to run certain .exe files that way.

You can probably run the program itself, but you'll have no luck getting the tactrix driver to work which means you can't flash.

haha I was just about to post that after a little research that it won't recognize the cable so that kinda defeats the purpose as with no cable that means no logging or flashing. I guess virtualbox it is! Any problem transfering files between the OS's ?
