Outlander Turbo evo 8 Ecu
Hello,
We have an Outlander here in Europe with a similiar engine like the Evo 8 +Evo 9 turbo intercooler setup but the Ecu is not to smart. Planing to wireing the US Evo 8 ecu similiar as did in 2G DSM.
The Imobilizer :
Can I flash the wiried Evo ecu in the Outlander for Tephra rom and set it to not checking the imobilizier ? Or I have to done it in the Evo from the Ecus will come with his key and imbolizier ecu ?
We would like Tephra V7 rom because the possibilites to choose between pump gas or E85 program. Will I have 2 different Igntion Fuel Boost tables for 2 fuel ? Also would like ECU-based direct boost control with the Omnibar 4bar MAP sensor and the GM boost control solenoid.
Don't know which want to choose go with MAF sensor + ECU-based direct boost control or by Speed Denstiy and no maf + ECU-based direct boost control. Do you suggest to run on SD for daily driving car ? In future engine mods planing to build a 2.3 stroker engine with FP red 84mm.. but the total year wheather conditions here are on wide scale and driving the car several time in mountains too. With a great ecu program will it work fine on SD ?
What does DMA and living map mean ? For that will i need a wideband o2 ?
Thanks for all or reply suggestion and experience
