that final revision is looking pretty damn good! i wonder how it would look with digital gauges instead or with a read out for the quick glance. kinda like the speedo and knock gauge

How did you get the stock texture on to that double din bezel? You did a really good job on it.

I agree. The gauges and stuff are cool, but I understand how you did that. The texture part is just bad @ss man. Great job. Is there a product or procedure you used?

Yea, procedure:

1. Go to http://www.japanparts.com
2. Navigate to the JDM Bezel section http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...=38&submit.y=5
3. Select the dark grey evolution viii bezel
4. Pay with credit card
5. Pull out of mailbox

It was difficult to master, but I have years of experience .

Haha. I didn't know they came in that texture. I was really impressed because it matched perfectly to the rest of the dash, but I guess that explains it.

How did you secure your lcd?

I used the Lilliput 8" in mine but I molded in the front bezel to the back of the jdm dd bezel so I could secure the lcd to it. It doesn't look like you did that.

I've ran into a brick wall, EvoScan has some serious bugs that appear to nix all my plans. It won't run in a carputer install cleanly because it has problems dealing with hibernate/resume and dealing with abrupt shutdowns while logging.
