swap
pin 8 and 22
move pin 20 to 32
move pin 21 to 34
32 /34 have no pins/wires on evo4

remove (not needed)
pin 91
pin 87

run extra wire /pin to 79 for flash connector

join wires to hot cat sensor connector under drivers seat or remove bulb in dash

you will need to disable immobiliser in ecu and turn off cel for fr o2 sensor heater circuit or wire in a 4 wire o2 sensor
12 v switched to one o2 heater wire and the other heater wire to pin 60 at ecu

All is clear only this two things:

run extra wire /pin to 79 for flash connector

and
you will need to disable immobiliser in ecu and turn off cel for fr o2 sensor heater circuit or wire in a 4 wire o2 sensor
12 v switched to one o2 heater wire and the other heater wire to pin 60 at ecu[/quote]

i don´t understand very well =)

Pin 79:

You know that white connector on the evo 8 right next to the odbii port? Thats the wire you don't have in the evo 4 and need to run it in order to flash the rom.

Immobilzer:

Is part of the periphery on the evo 8-9 roms and you need to turn it off or the car will not start. See this url.

evo4 has a two wire o2 sensor , evo5 onwards use 4 wire heated o2 sensor so the ecu expects to see the resisitance of the heater circuit when it doesnt it will put on the check eng light . so if you use your own o2 sensor you will have to disable the heater circuit cel.

evo 4s dont have any wire or pin in for ecu pin 79 so you need to put one in there , use one of the pins you disconnected 91 or 87 then add on enough wire to go up near the obd socket , this wire you connect to the small white connector on your flash cable.

also its easier if you use use evo5 to 9 injectors 560cc stock evo 4 are 510cc

Hellos friends!!!

Today, I´ll put the E8 ECU in my E4. So wish me luck.

I did not do before, because I had problems with my laptop but now not happen.

I just want to know the steps to follow ... What I have to do first and last? someone might describe them? I hope not to take away a long time. Thanks!

Step 1) Wire it in

Step 2) Flash out the immobilizer

Step 3) Test
