Evoscan disconnecting at WOT???

I am having a problem with Evoscan. It will log just fine under idle and cruising and a little bit of boost. But as soon as i got into WOT, evoscan will disconnect from the ecu. It will auto reconnect when i am not on WOT.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong.

You scared EvoScan. Apologize to it, console it, and try again.

I have the same problem with my Mitsulogger logging my zeitronix wideband /egt/boost. When I use mitsulogger and the zeitronix logger as separate programs no issues.

Are you logging with a laptop? Can you get a 2nd person to hold the laptop specifically the connector to the cable?

Sounds like you have ruled out an issue with the car so that leaves Software,Laptop and Cable. I would try Mitsulogger, if still the same thing happens then try a different Laptop.

Hey Faisal,
This is due to your Hard Drive motion detection. Go into start menu find toshiba hdd protection, and disable it. Rev2.7 gets rid of this problem.
