hi tephra.
a while back you wrote that you were working on a def for 53040013
would you have this on hand?
it would be greatly appreciated!

So I got this idea of implementing a failsafe on my car from AEM Wideband Failsafe and Tephra XMod v2. It's just a matter of a few hacked line on my current Tephra Xmod v1 ROM. In my case I modified the code so that if I get knocksums that would trigger CEL, that ECU should also dump boost. To do this, I introduced to a third custom table, called failsafe BWGDC that's entirely filled with zeros. This table doesn't come into use until knock CEL, allowing me to continue to run full dual maps.
To test this meant not having to sacrifice my engine. I just went into the Knock Background Noise Multiplier table and set 4500-8000 RPM to very low values (make knock detection hyper sensitive). This will trigger big knocksum that's all false. Did a pull from 2K and right at ~4500 hear my DV go a pshhh followed by a noticeable loss of power. Here's what happened in log form. Right around 4250-4500 RPM, big false knock, followed by immediate drop of WGDC. Not shown is MAF taking a near stairstep dip (within 60ms) while MAP takes slightly longer to bleed charge pressure down to WG spring pressure (within 700ms).
And here it is overlaid with a normal pull. BTW, the rising AFR on the failsafe plot tracks exactly AFRMAP as it would be in those lower load areas.
I don't know if this is something others might be interested in. Let me know.

Fixes
Whats the best setup for a meth failsafe? - You should use one of the ADC modes, if your USDM then you have to use the resistor ADC mode. Both ADC modes will switch back to normal maps INSTANTLY on detection of the failsafe condition.
Here is the wiring setup you should be trying to use for a meth failsafe:
Aquamist HFS Controller Setup

Can anyone tell me the colours of the wires from the ecu for the EVO X?
so essentially the colours of the wires at positions # 18, 45, 92 and 112 on the ecu.
apparently it is pin 112 for jdm evo x's
That would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

hello my EcuId is 53040007 but when mounting the V1 tephraXmod there are things that do not work well as RevLimiter stationay upload it to 6200 and try, still in 5500 Could someone tell me how I can fix? or send me the file with the correct definitions? I will be very thankful to who takes a little of your tiempor to help.

Dear Tephra
Have a nice day, I hope that everything is fine!
I m writing you because I have a customer who owns a Evo 5, with an Evo 8 Ecu, Id: 97250001
The point of writing you here is to request is your modified package to implement the sport features, I mean LC, FFLC, map switch, etc.
I tried by pm but your folder is full and it doesn't receive more messages
I understand that I need the map, the XML definitions for the ecuflash and then the definitions to log the car by evoscan...
Could you provide that, and pricing for your value effort on all this?

So is anyone hosting all the XML's for the Evo X model years after golden ended up leaving the scene? We should probably have multiple places this is kept for just this reason.
