Yes I searched... So sorry if I missed something


Anyway I just reformatted my laptop. I followed the link to 2.6 from my email which automatically downloaded 2.7. I entered in my serial number and it says invalid serial for this version. I then found a link on here that I followed to download 2.6. Downloaded that, but it errors up once I try to install it. Even after making sure there are no traces of 2.7 on my laptop anywhere. I did submit a ticket to them. Anybody have any suggestions?


While I am making a post... I have had trouble datalogging my lm1 for multiple versions of evoscan. I have searched, and am still searching, but while I am making a thread might as well as if somebody knows right off hand what may be different in newer versions of evoscan.. I dont think I have been able to log wideband since v.99 days. I think I have been fighting usb/com port issues which is why I reformatted my laptop... I had a sprint aircard that hogged up all the comports and I tried deleting all drivers/softwares and they would still show up as using a com port.

Thats funny I am having the same exact problem. My xp computer took a dive and I bought a Windows 7 computer and then downloaded 2.7 and my serial number not working either. I put a trouble ticket in yesterday morning still nothing heard back. I am in desperate need of it to cause my evo down with TPS issues

Dont quote me, but I believe that 2.7 takes a different serial number then 2.6. At least it did for me.

Also, I went back to 2.6, since there was lil bugs in 2.7.

I'm quoting you and asking where or how did you get different serial number?

I have 2.6 running fine but was trying to see what was new in 2.7 and received serial number is no good notification for new version as well.

Well I talk to Hamish a good amount online and when I asked for 2.7 full, he gave it to me, along with a new serial number.

he never got back with me either so I just bought another serial number. He does a lot and is a great guy so its only a 25 dollar contribution
