Torque seems low and late

How is it not practical?
-U disconnect the vacuum hose that connects to the MBC(leave it connected to the nipple on the WGA)
-use the air hose to pressure the WGA and let it fit tight onto the flapper.
*if u try to put the WGA onto the flapper by hand its gonna be slightly open... That's what my problem was.. You could really tell since I had a o2 dump

I see what you are saying. You take an air gun nozzle and apply air pressure to the WGA inlet to help push the rod out because a proper adjustment would place the hole on the actuator rod slightly behind the flapper stem. I usually just use a pair of vise grips on the WGA rod and give it a good tug to get the rod over the stem on the flapper.
I thought you were saying to hook it up to the compressor side of the turbo, not an air compressor in a garage.

I see what you are saying. You take an air gun nozzle and apply air pressure to the WGA inlet to help push the rod out because a proper adjustment would place the hole on the actuator rod slightly behind the flapper stem. I usually just use a pair of vise grips on the WGA rod and give it a good tug to get the rod over the stem on the flapper.

Did a boost leak today and found 1 by the silicone hose attached to the throttle body. Its amazing where you find leaks. Had a t-bolt clamp in that position but no matter how i tighten the leak wont go away. had to use a normal screw clamp. Have had chance to change the WGA as yet. Will keep you posted

When you apply air to the WGA, it extends...'opening' the wastegate flapper, it doesn't close it. That's how the system works. As boost pressure rises past the wastegate spring pressure, it opens the flapper to regulate boost pressure. Unless of course you meant it closes AFTER you release the air pressure

Yea it closes after you release the air pressure... Pressure opens the WGA, which extends the WGA so it can connect to the flapper, then you stop the air flow which closes the WGA... Bam done

I just use my hands....pull the WGA rod onto the WG flapper. Tighter isn't always better though. I found with my 18psi WGA that only enough to barely hold the WGA shut is the best setting.

Does my HP and Torque look correct for 25 psi with 50/50 348whp/319 torque! Should i try to switch from the 1.0 jet to the 0.8?
