Tactrix cable missing second connector

So I got my tactrix cable today from a guy (who im assuming) had a suby. this cable has the obd connector with 3 pins on the top (wider end) and 4 pins on the bottom (smaller end).

what it does NOT have, is the extra white connector that comes out of the obd plastic clip.

stupid question, but what does that wire connect to inside of the plastic obd tactrix connector? I didnt even get the plastic connector for mitsu's, i got two small ones for subies.

im wondering if i can add it in myself, or if im just SOL... again.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Plug it into a PC, and see what the device identifies itself as; see this chart (under "USB Description") to identify which cable you have, and what capabilities it has.
