Stationary rev Limit not defined in my ROM
Hey guys as you read in the title my ROM has 009A in the table for the stationary rev limit. ROM ID is 98640014. I know its not a popular ROM so any help will be appreciated to get it defined. Please give me step by step as I am new to this.

You are sure you have an Evo7.
In no way there is an clutch switch, no top one and no low one.
This is as ALL Evo 7 ( LHD and RHD ) were constructed.
If needed, i can send you the official WSM EVO 7 incl. wiring.
If possible, PM me your vin code from the firewall, i can tell you what you have.
The missing Clutch switch was one of the reasons ( beside the front and rear Bumbers ) why the 7 never was sold in the States.
Maybe, someone added the lower switch and the relay in the relay box in the Engine compartment to register the car in the States. As far as i know that HAS TO BE to get it street legal.
Did you get the car as "new"?
If so, is it LHD or RHD ( from the RomID i assume its an RHD )

Hi, i found the XML data for that rom in my Database
Its an JDM Market one, but really seldom. ( so you dondt have an 2002, but an 2001, it has an "A1" in the vin number, first gen Evo7 with the red Diamonds in the front )
It has an 180 KPH limiter and an 5000 RPM rev limit. ( never activated due to no clutch switch )
For the Evo 7, the clutch switch input is inverted, so no switch will never trigger the stat rev limiter. ( For NLTS we have to invert the signal from an evo 8 switch to function correctly )
Stat rev limit is "15ae"
Speed Limit is "158e"
Send me an E-Mail so i can reply with the full XML for that romID

All the JDM VII's I've seen have a clutch switch, but it's only used to ensure the clutch is depressed to allow engine start.
Not of the stat rev limiters work on the VII regardless of rom ID, Tephra added it to V5.10 ID 90550001, so if you want it you will have to swap the rom.
